PS3 and 360 both played games at 720p and at 30 fps. Then the Ps4 and X1 come along and demand $400 and $500, respectively, to play "next gen" games. I understand the outrage and I sympathize with Eric. No one deserves to be bullied and/or harassed, no one deserves the kind of awful abuse he no doubt endured.
